At last week’s 14th Barcelona International Festival of Gay Erotic Cinema HEATGay awards, Hot House Director Steven Scarbrough was awarded Best Director for The Missing. In attendance was Hot House Exclusive Francesco D’Macho who heard Steven’s name announced as the winner. However, John Rutherford, announced on his blog last Thursday that Kristofer Weston was winner of the same title as well for Hard Studies.

This prompted the PR team at Hot House to contact the Spanish award hosts to verify that Steven Scarborough was indeed the winner. Hot House wanted to be respectful of Kristofer and gave a heads-up to COLT of the situation. Yet when Kristofer Weston returned from Barcelona without the award, COLT still issued a press release naming Kristofer Weston as the award winner.
