Lucas Entertainment has just wrapped up filming for its big budget production, La Dolce Vita. Owner Michael Lucas has just released a teaser for the film.

Come to think of it, it seems that Michael Lucas has a preference for the fashion theme in his big productions. The last one, Dangerous Liaisons, was about betrayal and revenge and them continues with La Dolce Vita.

Jonathan Vargas asked me for advice on what would be best for his career. I told him he had a nice body, but he would be great with at least 4-pack abs. He came back with 6 of them. What interested you in working for Lucas Entertainment?

I have known about Lucas Entertainment because I purchased and watched some of their work before and enjoyed it. I went for casting and it made a lot of sense to me. It’s a strong and popular company, plus it’s based in New York. That worked out best since I go to school in NYC and I didn’t want porn to interfere with my studies.

What was your experience working with Michael?

The experience has been amazing. I wasn’t sure what to expect. What was important to me was that everyone on the crew tried their best to make me as comfortable as possible. Everyone was extremely polite and answered any question I had. My only complaint would be that there was no food after my scene because the crew ate it all! But next time we filmed I grabbed my food early and set it aside for later.

What attracted you to doing La Dolce Vita?

Well, I had known about the movie for some time, but I wasn’t originally cast. I made it in by a chance of luck- funny story actually … It was NYC fashion week and Michael had spotted me at the BCBG show. He was so impressed by my determination to workout and get into shape that he sent me into the office and immediately cast me in the movie.

What did you like most about the experience?

The best thing about the whole experience was meeting all these amazing people, including people I’ve known about like Pete Ross and Jason Ridge. I have read their blogs for some time now and actually meeting them was exciting. They were so nice and so much fun to be around. I loved it!!!

What is your character?

I had the best part of all! I was Rick Arnold’s (Pete Ross) date (a young trick)

Describe your scene.

Well, it was right after the fashion show and I decided to give Rick the goods. We head to his apartment to make out and the next thing you know, we are getting down and dirty.

Any funny or steamy stories from the set?

Funny stories, hmmmm…. We laughed and joked around a lot but nothing
really specific. It was funny getting hair and makeup touch ups while in the middle of a scene!

What was your favorite moment while working on La Dolce Vita?

Besides the obvious, I would have to say the fashion shoot. It felt like I was doing fashion week all over again and I had a blast going to the shows.

How do you think this will impact your porn career?

The fact that my first movie ever is a high budget, over the top film should put my name out there. Tons of people are going to rush to see it and its great exposure for me. I do wish I had a little more experience, but overall I think it’s going to be good. The only way to know for sure is to see where I am at a year from now )

San Francisco based Raging Stallion Studios today announced that it has completed a six-month long conversion to High Definition videography.

Just as big media companies have been battling which High Definition format to adopt, Raging Stallion announced that it will be releasing films in both HD-DVD and Blue-Ray. The company which recently purchased its second HD camera and completed its conversion systems to accomodate the new technology. It has so far filmed 14 films using the new cameras including the recent production of Lords of the Jungle shot in Hawaii.

The new HD format in Blu-Ray will be released in the coming months when consumers start replacing their current DVD players. Meanwhile, consumers can expect to received a compressed copy that allows standard DVDs and DVD players to take advantage of the crisp images captured on the HD cameras.

This is a first for a gay porn company and Michael Lucas of Lucas Entertainment even commented a few months ago that High Defeiniton was not possible for gay porn as it will expose every zit and hair on the star’s ass because gay porn studios don’t have the make-up and production resources as Hollywood studios.
