Seeing the muscles and that bubbly baby face of his, the term that came instaneously to mind was ’stud muffin.’ So it was no surprise that with such assets, Josh Griffin is first and foremost a go-go dancer in L.A. then a porn star.

While he may be popular on stage, 28 year old Josh Griffin is relatively unknown in the gay porn world, at least that was the case until Channel 1 mistress Chi Chi LaRue coaxed him into porn and that landed him a huge spread on the back cover of his debut film Josh Vaughn’s Best Men. Being a newbie, there’s so little information on him so I thought share him with you guys with an interview.

Josh, what do you do to get that body? Sports, genetics, 4 hrs at the gym & 5 proteins shakes a day? How tall are you and how much are you packing?
Well, about 28 plus years ago my mom and dad… oh wait, I would say it is a combination of both sports and genetics. I was a competitive athlete for a great portion of my life as a NCAA Swimmer. I needed an outlet after college and started hitting the weights. I took to it really easily and had some great results. I follow a diet and on my 5’8” frame, I’m weighing between 185 and 190 lbs currently.

The word on the street is that Chi Chi discovered you whilst you were go-go dancing. Do tell the details. How long did it take you to say yes and what was the deciding factor?
Actually, that is when I first met Chi Chi. I really was able to have a good meeting when my roommate Blake Riley, stopped by the office to pick up a pay check and to say hello to the staff. That is when we first met and talked. You really can’t have much of a conversation when the base of dance music is being blasted in a club.

I wasn’t sure at first, but the idea grew on me and we went from there! The real deciding factor was after many talks with Chi Chi, Doug Jeffries, Blake Riley, Lex Sabre and others, I saw how well Channel 1 treats their models. Like Chi Chi says in many of her blogs, she does take care of us like her kids; I instantly got that feeling and that certainly made it much more comfortable for me. The overall process took almost 5 months.

You’re from Texas, like many other Channel 1 stars, did you meet you ex Cameron Marshall in L.A. or in Texas? Did he have a part in your porn career?
Yes the great state of Texas! Wow we do turn them out of there don’t we… Blake Riley, Josh Vaughan, Cameron Marshall, Jesse Santana, Guy Parker… wow, those are the ones that just come to mind.

I met Cameron actually for the first time on the day of my still photographs on the set of my first movie here in LA. I we met in passing because I was just getting out of makeup and he was going in. Blake introduced us, and we went our separate ways from there. We actually talked and hit it off at a club a few days later. Cameron is a super sweet and intelligent guy that I am proud to still have as a friend. It was sad to end things with him, but life goes on and I got a great friend out if it.

As for my new porn career, no Cameron didn’t have any influence, more like I said before it was Blake, Lex, and others that assisted in showing me the industry; the pros and cons, etc. Ultimately it was my lone decision and there are zero regrets behind it.

On you other career, how did you get into go-go dancing and how long have you been at it?
I hated being behind a desk and at that time I was making more on a box 4 hours a night than I was at my desk job where I was there for 8 plus hours daily. I have been at it since December. I got into it by accident really… a friend of mine and I would go to a club every Thursday night and when the boxes on the floor were empty, we’d hop up and have a great time. Once we started getting tips, the promoter saw this, and told me that I should audition… so I did. However, now with the economy going the way it is, the tips have severely declined and being a full time student, I may need to find a part time job to supplement until I can start doing some of the larger gigs through Channel 1.

You must get a lot of propositions dancing, what was the most-memorable come-on line? How did you react?
Tons and tons of propositions! I take them very graciously, but decline… except for the hot ones!! But my most memorable come on line was about 4 months ago I had this guy tipping me in $50’s all night I racked up around $1000 dollars when he slips me a note on a napkin, “Is $1000 enough to take you home for the night?” Shit, it was still early I was going to try for more, so I waved him over and told him, “Not yet, keep going!” Well, he got drunk, and walked out after tipping me about another $300… I haven’t seen him since to say thanks, and it wouldn’t have happened.

On a recent Jason Sechrest interview, you admitted you will eventually bottom on screen. When is that gonna happen? How much bottoming do you do in your private life?
I said in the interview that if I was asked to I would consider bottoming, but as for anything upcoming, that is for me to know and y’all to find out. Privately and well, I guess publically now, I am a total top.

Some guys who put themselves out there all the time still claim they’re shy. You do porn and you go-go dance. Would you consider yourself shy?
Nope, I am a total extravert… the class clown the one who feeds off the energy of crowds. When doing group assignments in school, I always volunteer to present. I have a lot of fun with it and it gives me the opportunity to joke around… it also gives me a good grade!!

How old were you when you first had sex with a guy? Who made the move and what happened? Been with a girl ever?
I was 25 when I first had sex with a guy. I made the move and we had a great night! As for being with a girl, yes I have and many times. In fact at one point in time I was engaged to a girl… funny thing is, I’ve known since I was 7 that I was gay, I was doing it to hopefully convince myself otherwise, a process of total emersion. Well, it actually worked out to my benefit; she ended up cheating on me and getting married to a childhood friend while I was out of the country in a very warm, dry, sandy place.

What catches your attention first in a guy?
Body, a guy must be like me and take care of it and workout. He doesn’t need to be some meat head, but someone that can appreciate the gym and not mind the time I spend in it, because it will both be mutual.

I love guys with brains and brawns and know you’re also in school for a Master’s degree. What are you majoring?
One of the best gifts Cameron ever bought me was a t-shirt that has “Dumb Jock” across the chest. I love wearing this to school because many of the students see and look at me and agree with the sentiment. I get looks and many jokes, I have had a few approach me and I shut them down when they find out what I’m on campus for.

Yes, I am in school full time working on my Master’s Degree in Policy, Planning and Development. Ok I know everyone is asking what the hell that is… well, it is a fancy term for Policy Analyst and/or Policy Developer, the type of person that is more of a bureaucrat or a lobbyist within a government. I have just 3 semesters to go and I’ll be all done!

Weird: the tiny ass back seat of my pick-up truck: not the most comfortable places!!
Sleazy… Not full on sex, but I have messed around in a couple of the bathrooms of some of the clubs I work at.

Do you watch porn? If yes, what’s your favorite?
I do, and I really can’t watch anything with my friends in it. Channel 1 productions are great, but for me, seeing my closest friends (hell my roommate Blake) in scenes, doesn’t do it for me.

Who do you want to fuck with the most?
